Meet Alexandria Peterson, DNP
Alexandria Peterson, DNP, is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Alexandria earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and her Master of Science in Nursing at the Medical University of South Carolina. She earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Northern Arizona University.
Alexandria worked in Urgent Care as a Nurse Practitioner prior to joining Cornerstone Health Community with exceptional skill in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases, medical management, physicals, procedures, and other aspects of total patient care.
She has a passion for optimal health and preventative medicine. As a primary care provider, she is dedicated to assisting people in living their healthiest lives and forming relationships with her patients.
Prior to becoming a provider, Alexandria was a Registered Nurse focusing on surgery in the operating room. Alexandria served within the United States Space Force Reserves as an Emergency Room/Clinical Nurse.
Alexandria loves to hike, ski, run, bike, and explore the Colorado mountains with her husband and two daughters during her free time.
Alexandria works in close collaboration with Dr. Mote and our Functional Medicine model of care while serving our patients’ primary care, family medicine and urgent care needs.
